It all started with a television station…

In 2012, Conduit founder Tim Burke was working with television stations as a national advertising sales consultant, working with local sales teams to build results-oriented proposals for their local clients. As more and more local clients began to “dabble” with online marketing, they started asking for more integrated solutions, which most television groups did not have. Tim met with the leadership of Gray Television, and together, they built an in-house digital ad agency, LocalX, which was completely run by Tim’s new company called Traffic Builders.

Traffic Builders has worked with over 4500 local clients on behalf of over 120x television stations as their in-house digital agency through 2021. The knowledge and experience gained by Traffic Builders in working at this volume was invaluable.

In 2017 the leadership at Traffic Builders made the decision to navigate our future toward working with advertising agencies, and Conduit Digital was born.
